Farr Bay Inn Hotel Expansion

Farr Bay Inn approached us through our delivery partners at Iron & Pine to design a site offering additional accommodation for the growing NC500 touring industry. The client sought a compact design to maximise the number of additional rooms while ensuring guest privacy.

Our planning team faced challenges, primarily due to two listed buildings near the site. With their guidance, our architects designed a scheme that met all client requirements and adhered to planning policy.

The application comprised of:

  • Planning Design and Access Statement,

  • Planning Form,

  • Heritage Section,

  • Architectural Drawings

Permission was granted after an eight-week consultation period, securing approval in under three months from our first contact with the client.
