Planning Success - April Update

April has been a fantastic month for Greenfinch. We have had two applications successfully approved.

The first was for a 4-pod hotel expansion at Farr Bay Inn. The owner of the Hotel came to use it as they wanted to expand the rooms to meet demand and increase trade to their new restaurant. Once we had agreed on a site plan, we prepared the application in 4 weeks, and the Highland Council delivered a determination on time with minimal conditions and no pre-commencement conditions. The council did not require any further information once that application had been validated.

The second application was for a farm diversification project in Dumfries & Galloway. The couple came to us as they wanted to diversify their farm income but did not have the time to handle the planning process. We were able to handle the design and planning stages for them and again gained them swift approval with minimal conditions and no pre-commencement conditions.
